The Level 2 Diploma in Care is a nationally recognised qualification in the UK designed for people starting a career in health and social care. The Level 2 Diploma in Care is a work-based qualification aimed at learners who are either already working in care or completing a placement in a real care environment. Equivalences

The Level 2 Diploma in Care sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is considered a Level 2 qualification in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.: A Level 2 qualification is broadly equivalent to:
  • GCSEs at grades 4–9 (A–C
  • BTEC First Diploma / Level 2 BTEC
