Level 2 Diploma in Care is a nationally recognised qualification in the UK designed for people starting a career in
health and social care. It provides the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to work as a
care assistant,

healthcare assistant in a variety of care settings.
The Level 2 Diploma in Care is a
work-based qualification aimed at learners who are either already working in care or completing a placement in a real care environment. It focuses on developing the competence required to provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is considered a
Level 2 qualification in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.:
