The Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care (Early Years Educator) is a nationally recognised UK qualification designed for learners who want to build a professional career working with children from birth to 5 years old. This course prepares learners to become qualified Early Years Educators (EYE), meeting the standards set by the Department for Education. It is widely recognised by employers and allows practitioners to count in staff-to-child ratios in nurseries and early years settings in England. Learners who work within a setting which provides care and education for children across the three age ranges and can gain the necessary hours of experience, need not seek placement outside of their setting Age range Hours:
