Developed with support from organisations such as Skills for Care and the Department of Health and Social Care, this qualification helps ensure consistent, high-quality care across the sector.

Equivalences

The Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and is considered a Level 2 qualification in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.: A Level 2 qualification is broadly equivalent to:
  • GCSEs at grades 4–9 (A–C
  • BTEC First Diploma / Level 2 BTEC
  • OCR Level 2 Nationals
