Overview

The primary objective of the OTHM Level 4 Online Diploma in Education and Training is to improve learners' understanding of the theory and practise related to their role as educators. Students will have the opportunity to engage with the issues that affect professionals and policymakers in their own country with the Online Diploma in Education. It will give one the information required to work successfully as a practitioner in the field of education. The units combine theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of education in order to develop and enhance knowledge and abilities in the areas of successful performance, planning and accountability, development, and teamwork. Learners will have access to a wide range of management and administration positions in the field of education. The OTHM Level 4 Online Diploma in Education and Training Management at Trinity Open Learning can be completed online or in person.

Entry requirements

For entry onto the OTHM Level 4 Online Diploma in Education and Training qualification, learners must possess:

• Relevant NQF/QCF Level 3 Award/Diploma or at the level of GCE/GCSE or equivalent
• The learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course

Progression

Successful completion of OTHM Level 4 Online Diploma in Education and Training qualification provides learners with the opportunity for academic progressions to OTHM or any other  Level 5 Diploma in Education Training. learners are eligible to gain direct entry into Year 2 of a three-year UK Bachelor’s degree programme or directly entry to employment.
